Married for close to 40 years with 2 sons, 1 daughter-in-law, and 2 grandsons, Steve and Cindy have lived in Southern Maryland (St. Mary’s County) for most of their lives. They also owned a very successful waste management company, Steve Dyson Hauling, which operated in the area for over 30 years. Currently, they are happily retired. They spend most of their free time together at home, sometimes nicknamed “the farm” because of all the animals. Besides the dogs, they also have 1 pet pig, a few dozen chickens, and several ducks. In the past they’ve owned horses, cows, geese, birds, fish, frogs, even prairie dogs! They also have a cabin in Luray, VA, where they enjoy spending weekends hiking with the dogs (that’s where the name Dyson Cozy Cabin Kennels comes from). Their house has an unofficial open door policy, with friends and family often stopping by unannounced for morning coffee, dinner, or simply to say hi.
